《 Piedmont 最後傳奇大師的曠世鉅作 》

Bruno Giacosa 總是可以釀出最偉大的 Barolo，Piedmont 裡三位令人景仰的大師分別是-- Bruno Giacosa、和兩位已凋零的 Bartolo Mascarello、 Giacomo Conterno。三位都是窮盡一生心血要釀出臻於完美境界的葡萄酒，其偉大的貢獻令人景仰不已，雖然大病初癒的 Bruno Giacosa 已經 84 歲了，仍堅持在酒莊中督促晚輩們釀酒沒有絲毫的懈怠。

Bruno Giacosa 生於 1929 年 Barbaresco 的 Neive 地區，原本在家中就從事釀酒事業，由於沒有自己的葡萄園，全部的葡萄都是向別人收購而來，15 歲開始 Giacosa 就要跟著祖父和父親為了追尋最頂級的葡萄來釀酒而跑遍整個 Piedomont 地區，他們曾經配合採購過的葡萄園非常多，可以這麼說 : Giacosa是最了解Barbaresco 和 Barolo 每一片葡萄園 精髓  的人。 Giacosa 的個性非常內向也不愛交際應酬，他總是謙虛的接待慕名而來的訪客，盡管他不善公關但他的酒可是能深深打動你的心。

Giacosa 分為收購葡萄來釀的酒稱為 “Casa Vinicola Bruno Giacosa” ；自有葡萄園的酒稱為 “Azienda Agricola Faletto di Bruno Giacosa”

近半個世紀以來 Piedmont 其他酒莊都只有做 Barolo 或 Barbaresco 的時候，唯有 Giacosa 卻同時在這兩個產區都釀出了傳奇性的酒款。酒莊現在擁有 20 公頃的葡萄園，在 Barbaresco 有 Asili 和 Rabaja 兩個超級好的 Grand Cru 葡萄園，並在1982 年買下了位於 Barolo 的 Serralunga 村莊裡揚名於世的 Falletto 葡萄園。Giacosa釀酒的哲理被認為是”現代化的傳統派”，利用現代化不鏽鋼桶工具沿用低溫泡皮達 30-50天的極度傳統的釀酒方式，此後 Giacosa 追求完美的個性讓他獲得極高的聲譽，努力不懈和高超的技藝，更重要的是非常嚴格的標準，只要當年的品質達不到要求就不生產。

尤其是 Giacosa 的紅標 Riserva 等級的 Barolo、Barbaresco 就等於是世界級的 Grand Cru 一級酒莊的酒款，只有在最佳的年份才有生產，紅標的酒款不僅有難以置信的複雜度、馥郁和爆發力且長命百歲酒，具有罕見的恢弘氣度。

•  Robert Parker 對 Giacosa 的 Barolo 與 Barbaresco 讚不絕口。他曾經說﹕
  If I said his top Barbarescos and Barolos can rival a great vintage of Petrus for richness and complexity, few, I suspect, would believe it. However, his wines are on that level … if I were restricted to only one bottle of Italian wine, it would be one of the great Babarescos or Barolos from Bruno Giacosa.
  假如我說Giacosa頂級的 Barbarescos 和 Barolos 可以和好年份奢華且複雜的Petrus 相匹敵，應該很少人會相信，連我自己也曾懷疑過，但是事實就是如此，他的酒就是如此的高段…..假如我被迫只能選一瓶義大利酒喝，一定是 Bruno Giacosa 恢弘的 Barbaresco 和 Barolos。
• 另外 Robert Parker在 The World's Greatest Wine Estates 中介紹 Giacosa 時是這樣寫的﹕Perhaps the greatest compliment I could confer on Bruno Giacosa is that there are no wines in the world I buy without tasting first, except for those of one producer --- the Professor of Nebbiolo.

     非常清楚的，和世界上最好最值得珍藏的酒相比Giacosa 的佳釀在價格上仍然  是物超所值的。

• Decanter 表示 Bruno Giacosa 酒莊應該列入義大利的一級酒莊。
• James Suckling 以前是Wine Spectator 負責評審義大利酒的大將，給了Bruno Giacosa Barolo Riserva le Rocche Falletto 2007 一百分滿分的完美評價。

100 points James Suckling : "I tasted this last year and had to put it in this report again after tasting it a couple of weeks ago. This is phenomenal. Clearly perfect with layers of subtle fruit and spices and hints of chocolate. Full and very long. It builds on the palate and goes and goes. Hazelnut and dark fruits. So fresh and bright too. A fabulous and structured red. January 2013 release.

這款酒一入口就感受到大量的黑色醬果味道爆發開來。這年份的酒是如此的深邃和雋詠，焦土、煙燻、薄菏、甘草和新皮革等味道融合成令人驚嘆的傑作，強勁的力道一直到結束都沒有絲毫減弱，一如往常地 Giacosa 經典的乾燥玫瑰花香氣撲鼻而來，形塑出驚人的雄偉風格，濃郁的單寧結構需要耐心的處理，這款 2007 年 Riserva 不愧又是 Bruno Giacosa 的曠世鉅作啊。 適飲期 : 2022-2042
